For several years Someca has been involved in the construction of specific containment tanks in stainless steel. These tanks are designed to contain water for fire protection purposes.
After an initial design phase in collaboration with the customer’s offices, the material to be used and the various accessories to be installed such as flanges or sleeves for any drains are established. Of fundamental importance are the crosspieces that will be welded on the tank in order to guarantee its resistance and tightness. The tanks are welded to perfect water tightness and tested internally to verify that they do not show infiltrations.
If this were not enough, on request, a company specialized in controls can be contacted to guarantee the Customer the perfect realization thanks to specific tests, such as that of penetrating liquids.
